Myths&Mysteries

This is a diceless and rules-light ttrpg.  Encounters receive a difficultynumber, which will be determined by cards. Skills are used to reach the difficultynumber, without rolling dice. It is just a matter of how much you will exhaust yourself to succeed...
The system doesn't rely on stats, which makes it very conversion friendly.

The PDF is pamphlet sized and includes:

• a character sheet
• and all the core rulings for play.

A deck of cards (poker) will be needed and we recommend, if you have the space, using the Skill Cards for a more tactile and open experience.

Any setting can be incorporated as desired; From the Cthulhu-Mythos to Scooby-Doo to Giallo and Troma. Use modules from other systems if you wish. It is unlikely you will need to do any conversions.

There will be supplementary pamphlets by Myths & Mysteries available that will highlight certain frameworks, ambiences and tropes of the common and uncommon world of the Weird. May it be folklore, aliens, urban legends, secret societies, the occult and other fictional inspirations.



This game is a work in progress. Depending on the interest and demand of the community, this project could develop into something more than its initial iteration.
