Rumors - White Edition

RUMORS - is a ttrpg system. It is my heartbreaker fantasy game and is built upon the basic Dragon-Game everyone knows and turned into something very different.

MECHANICS to expect:
- roll-under Attribute (d20)
- player-facing rolls
- resource dice for ammunition and wealth (d6)
- classless but with archetypes
- stamina for mind and body instead of hp
- weapons with effects
- Magic being costly, scalabel and narrative

WHITE EDITION - The idea was to recapture the wonder of interpreting the rules, as people had to do with the White Box edition. Not with the approach of having the rules being cryptic and convoluted, but through simplicity and white-space.
The White Edition is a bare bones ruleset. No examples of play, no interior art, no fluff, very condensed rules and no-one telling you how to play a roleplaying game.
38 pages with a character-sheet.

FUTURE EDITION - The goal is to develop a full edition at some point. Hiring professional artists and editors and providing a bunch of extra lists, tables, items etc..
The White Edition always being a bare edition, free of charge.

IN DEVELOPMENT - In the stage of play-testing.
Mechanics might be added or dropped over time. Text might go through some restructuring. Fighting typos.
